Hello my fellow book lovers!
If you’re like most reading enthusiasts, you have probably found yourself spending quite a bit on books. It’s okay; you can let it out. Repeat after me, “My name is _______, and I have a problem.”
Feeling better? 😉
Your task today is to seek out free reading opportunities. If you don’t have a library card, go to your local library and get one. Enjoy the hundreds of books at your disposal for free!
Also, consider starting a book swap with friends and coworkers. Many offices have a “lending library” in the break room. This is where you can donate books you’ve enjoyed and add them to the library. Generally, these operate under a “take one, leave one” policy. If your office doesn’t have this, consider starting one.
Finally, dig around your already cluttered bookshelf and find the books you bought but never read. Maybe this is the month that you get ahead financially AND finally read that impulse buy at the grocery store checkout line.
Try this out for a few weeks and log the savings toward your challenge!
